Kristin is my roommate from college and friend from high school.  She and her husband Eric have been patiently waiting for a little one to love for some time now and I’m thrilled to introduce you to baby Hayes.  That’s Hayes Lewis George Rinebold X actually and he is BEAUTIFUL!  I got to meet him today and I could hardly put him down to take his picture.  I’m beyond excited for Kristin and Eric and cant wait to see this fun family start to enjoy their lives together.  You can tell from the shots I got that there will be lots of laughter in their house and lots and lots of love.  Congratulations guys.  Oh and by the way, Kristin, you have never looked prettier than you did today.  The shot of you over Hayes laying on the changing table is stunning.  Motherhood certainly suits you.

Caroline started working for me over eight years ago when I had a store here in Charlotte.  She became part of the family, as did the rest of my employees, and we have shared many great times together since.  She is marrying Chase, her high school sweetheart and I am the lucky one who gets to photograph the couple on their special day.  Today we took some pictures to use for their engagement pictures.  They are traditional and precious and we wanted something simple and classic that would look good fifty years from now.  I take a lot of pictures of people in fields and barns and I love that look, but we wanted something different for them and I think we found a setting that was much more appropriate to their personalities. There are some really precious ones that I love here and then there are few that just showed Caroline and Chase’s personalities too much to leave out.  Let me know what you think.

The Bowles family was too cute for words.  The girls are all beautiful and their family portrait is one of my favorites that I have taken.  Enjoy!

It was a bitterly cold morning, but the Grogan family braved the chill and came out to play.  Here they are.

What a fun family to photograph.  You could tell this was a family who really loved each other and actually didn’t mind being around each other.  It was a fantastic shoot and everyone had a great time.
